Personalised native garden designing service

With more than 15 years’ experience in the landscaping and garden design industry, Geelong Native Plants’ Christine Russell is the local go-to expert for coastal garden designing. She specialises in cost-effective, personalised gardens, using the most suitable native plants available.

What are the benefits of native plants in your garden design? Simple!

Indigenous plants thrive naturally, without the need for high-level plant care and maintenance. We will help you choose the best plants, including native shrubs, indigenous trees and grasses – for a unique coastal garden design that looks stunning year-round.

With new developments popping up throughout Geelong district, including the Bellarine Peninsula, Warralily and Armstrong Creek housing estates, the need for native garden designing is increasing. Many developers require front gardens landscaped within six months of occupancy, with a minimum requirement of 70 per cent native plants in the garden design.

Why work with Geelong Native Plants?

  • Quick service.
  • We customise our easy-care garden designs to suit your needs, budget and lifestyle.
  • Our drawings are suitable for council approval.
  • Garden designs are pet-and-child-friendly.
  • No known poisonous plants are used.

We take a holistic approach to coastal garden designing and can arrange a professional, competent landscape gardener to work on garden construction. Other elements we can incorporate in our garden designing include worm farms, chook houses, compost, vegetable and herb gardens and pot plants.

Christine provides highly specific and detailed drawings, including style, quantities and prices of materials for paths, soil, mulch, native grasses and plants – as well as plant lists, pot sizes and pricing. All garden designing elements conform to council or land developers’ specifications.

On completion of drawing and full payment, customers receive a Plant Identification Card Catalogue with a photo, description and cultural notes of all the native plants selected for their garden.
